Obsessive Mummy

I may sound obsessive but whenever I am bored at office, in the train or even during dinner time if hb is too boring (muahaha..tat happens), I will flip through my SIX THOUSAND and more photos of Zach using my iPhone.. Okay.. 6K sounds alot but it took me an hour or more just to perform back-up each time I sync my phone!!

I am always happy to see how much Zach has grown over the period of 13 months coming to 14 next week. Happy that I am so lucky to have him. Happy that I am so lucky to have met Laverne and without her, I would not have known Aunty Hee (Zach's babysitter) and without her, Zach would not be such a charming little boy. She has taken such good care of him..making sure that Zach has some flesh on him..her daughters dote on Zach like their own little bro, teaching him how to read, sing and even dance! Some little gestures too... I am feeling so blessed!

I am so in love with him that I cannot bear to let him not sleep with us for a night..okok..he did sleep with my parents for a night last weekend when we were back in town but I was tossing and turning the whole night and I decided to go to their room and take Zach back to be with me.. GUESS WHAT? My parents ignored my knock on their bedroom door and they even locked the door. They must have known that I will be 'kidnapping' Zach away from them..haha

Enuff said.. hubby says I am crazy and I am beginning to think I am too. I am worried that if I start travelling, I would go crazy and my colleague joked that I will end up buy air tickets for everyone to fly to where ever I will be so that I could work and they could take care of Zach.. Ooopss.. It may be true.

No longer the youngest

As of last year Zach is still the youngest in the family..but not anymore because we have 2 new additions to our family. One from my cousin and another from hb's cousin.

Since I was not back to Klang last week, I did not get to attend Sherlly's baby girl's full moon party but we attended Mindy's baby full moon party! Oh well, I can always visit my cousin next week.

All of us can't wait for Yi Si (my elder sis) to deliver this coming March.. baby Ethan will be so cute!! Hope I still remember how to carry a little baby now that Zach is a big baby. Hahaha

All about PLAY!

The long weekend is all about play for Zachary and he also picked up a new skill.

Scribbling.. I bought this mini draw board from Toys R Us as a Christmas pressie Zach. He ignore it at first but on Friday morning, he found it amidst his toys and start scribbling. We showed him how to push the slider to erase the drawing and he mastered it within seconds.

He then upgraded himself to pen and paper. No prize for guessing where most of the ink landed, on his hands, legs and floor!! I hope he will stay on paper and pen before crayons..I can only imagine my walls.

His long weekend began on 31st Dec 2009 when we brought him to Punggol Marina for Shabu Shabu dinner. He was very tired that day but still refused to sleep. He enjoyed watching people fishing and at the same time, littering the floor with bits and pieces of torn tissues...psst.. between you and me, Zach torn about 1/2 box of their tissue..oopps!

Not in his best of mood

He did not go to sleep till past midnight but we did not watch the countdown on Ch 5 because I am busy catching up with my TVB drama, Rosy Business.. hahaha

He slept past 10am on Friday, just in time to wake up to enjoy the Raisin Buttermilk pancake I made him..he took a whole piece + 1/4 of mine.. he has a very big appetite. Weather was good and we were contemplating to go for a swim or Polliwogs for him to exercise. Decided on the latter.. but I forgot to apply sunscreen on him so he end up with more than tanned cheeks..hehehe. Must remember next time ya.

He had alot of fun at Polliwogs, climbing up and down, going down the slides, venturing. It is a good place to bring him.

He knocked off the moment we drove off!

Joanne SMS-ed me on Saturday morning organising a playdate at Polliwogs! Hooray that Papa said yes.. we went at 3.30pm and saw Summer and Daniell with Darrell.

They have a ball of time. Most of them knocked out after the play except Ashlynne. She's such a hyper baby..cute! We parents had dinner at Kenny Rogers after that. Clarice was snoozing, Zach trying hard to snooze, Summer & Ashlynne were 'egging' each other..hahaha. Too bad, no pix to post.

We will organise another play date very very soon.
