Random Ramblings

It's been a long time since I last wrote an update on Zachary..

He'll be turning 15 months in another 5 days!! I've decided not to track on his monthly development after he turns 12 months as now his development will be really individual and dependent alot on how he is being mould and not based on what is being written on books or sites. Of course I am not discounting them nor brushing it aside..

Zach started walking officially on 15 Feb 2010 (I better write this down so that I can let him know in future). Even before he can walk, I have been buying him shoes. His shoes can even match the number of heels mummy have. Hehe..well, if a woman can't get enuf of 'em, kids too!

CNY came and go in a blink!! We had steamboat at hubby's house this year. There were lotsa food but it is just normal steamboat to me and doesn't reflect the true meaning of CNY reunion dinner at all..ah well!! Zach is still too young to understand what is going on..he is just happy to have sumthing to eat. Keke

He had fun travelling with us to KL on the 2nd day of CNY.. taking flight and all. He's really a good companion for travelling..not fussy at all. He don't cry when the plane is taking off or landing nor will be fuss during the flight time. He will either, sleep or make friends with passengers from the back row, usually the latter. He will also make eye contacts with the stewardess, yes, my son is a player!! Hahaha...

It was also during this period, Zach learns how to pout and cry whenever someone raises his voice, starting with grandpa.. Zach pulled my hair during dinner time and grandpa said in a stern voice 'No..' and it started with a sad puppy eye look followed by sucking in of breath and tears will start to flow!! That was the first time, subsequently he will cry with tears until it sounded so fake that me and hubby could not be bothered anymore. Lucky for us, he is able to remember our stern warnings, so the next time he tries to repeat his act, we will just say "No Zach, remember Daddy getting angry?". He will just look at us and walk away.. so no spanking or beating (so far).

Besides getting us angry cos we both personally felt he is getting very spoilt, he never forget to make all of us laugh as well.
1. Getting the house key and trying to open the door to go out
2. Rushing to the main door, sit down waiting for us to wear his shoes the moment we mention Let's go...
3. Waving goodbye and putting his hands to his head (mouth) as a sign of flying kiss
4. Dancing by bending slight knees and waving his hands
5. Doing the round, swish, up and down motion whenever we sing Wheels on the Bus. It's a hit!!
6. Trying to jump, mimicking mummy doing star jump
7. Bending down to talk to cats figurine found outside our neighbours..cute!! He never fail to do that

He has alot of cute and adorable gestures!! N we are so happy that he is picking up things fast..understanding what we are trying to tell him. We are even surprised that he knew things that we never thought he would know..

Mummy is now busy making appointments with various childcare centres to pick one out that will bring out the best in him. I am looking for one that will let Zach be himself, explore and not confined to classroom style teaching, huge space to walk, roam and run.. me and hubby has shortlisted 2 so far and shall be paying them a visit on 8th March..we will bring Zach along so that he can go and have a feel of the surrounding as well.

Lazy to post up photos todae.. will do so at the next entry.
